This lightweight Red Grandis Hardwood Cill (50mm x 150mm), with a fine medium texture and straight grains, is superb for joinery and structural work. Grown in a monitored plantation minimizing defects, it offers assured strength and good machining capabilities. Available in various lengths from 1.8m, it includes cross-cutting service. Post-machining dimensions may slightly reduce. Sizes reduce by around 5-6mm (thickness) and 5-8mm (width).

Product Description

This 50mm x 150mm Hardwood Cill fashioned from Red Grandis offers a medium to fine texture and light weight, ideal for joinery work. A pink hardwood with straight grains, it integrates good machining properties and moderate durability. Notably, its strength properties are favourable for structural work, and it can also be strength graded for assured performance. Originating from a plantation, the growth of the trees is closely monitored, resulting in fewer defects. The cill comes in a range of lengths starting from 1.8m, and a versatile cross-cutting service is typically offered. Please note, the post-machining dimensions may be smaller than the stated sizes, usually reducing by 5 to 6mm in thickness and 5 to 8mm in width.
