The Tapered Edge Insulated Plasterboard(38mm thick, 2400mm x 1200mm) features a hardy 12.5mm wallboard bonded to polyisocyanurate foam, thus ensuring high thermal insulation to limit heat loss in buildings. Suitable for ceilings, walls, and window reveals, it also boasts remarkable fire resistance and soundproofing, meeting BS 476, BS EN 13501-1, and EN 13950: 2014. Eco-friendly, it presents zero Ozone Depletion Potential and less than 5 Global Warming Potential.

Product Description

This Tapered Edge Insulated Plasterboard, measuring 2400mm x 1200mm x 38mm, comprises of a quality 12.5mm wallboard bonded to high-efficiency polyisocyanurate foam free of CFC and HCFC. This foam even features two integrated vapour management layers. Ideal for both new builds and refurbishment projects, it can be used on walls, ceilings, and window reveals, offering substantial thermal insulation to minimise heat loss in buildings. The plasterboard is fronted with ivory-coloured wallboard and backs onto pale yellow insulation foam. The thermal conductivity rates are 0.19W/mK for the wallboard and 0.022W/mK for the foam. Environmentally friendly, it offers Zero Ozone Depletion Potential and a Global Warming Potential of less than 5. The product can be plastered smoothly with Thistle BoardFinish or Thistle MultiFinish. In addition to thermal performance, the inclusion of a 12.5mm wallboard enhances its fire resistance and soundproofing properties. Easy to install, this insulated plasterboard conforms to BS 476 (Part 6 & Part 7), BS EN 13501-1 and EN 13950: 2014, and is certified to BES 6001.
