Product Description

This Acoustic Plasterboard with Tapered Edges, measuring 2700mm x 1200mm x 12.5mm, is composed of heavy-duty gypsum with a high-density noise insulating core and a distinguishing blue paper exterior. Thanks to its advanced core design, this plasterboard significantly enhances sound insulation performance in walls, partitions, and ceilings, minimising noise transmission between rooms in contrast to standard models. This plasterboard is ideal for British installations designed for superior sound insulation. It is simple to cut to requisite dimensions and can be secured either mechanically or with adhesives. The material is sound or acoustic resistant and is certified to BES 6001, achieving a rating of Very Good.
